No other agent could have done a better job of showing us houses via email and really understand what we were looking for. I highly recommend this agent if you want someone that can negotiate the closing you want with some extras to boot. He got the builder to put in a fence in our case. He knows the area and is not afraid to tell you what you need to hear vice something you may want to hear. The best agent we have had in the 3 moves we have made.

He didn't hassle us at all when it came to the decision if we wanted to purchase the properties we looked at or not, he simply put us in the driver's seat and supported whatever we wanted to do. Needless to say, we became great friends with Mike and I would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a new home. From our time leaving Japan to getting back states, he kept us informed of properties and was there to negotiate whatever we wanted. To make a long story short, we secured our first home(exactly what we were looking for) and paid 30K less than what the owner was asking, and not coming out the pocket at all during the closing, with the seller paying 12k in closing costs and we came out of the closing table with 800 dollars in our pocket and a beautiful home with no money down. The number one realtor, hands down in Hampton Roads. You can't go wrong with Mike. My only downside with Mike was that he was a Duke Blue Devil fan and I'm a die-hard Tarheels, that took away about 50 cool points
